Some posts ago…. i was inebriated and thinking abt the whole apple/intel thingy..

There were some speculations running around loose, not ready to be tied down yet…
But basically, I looked at:
1. intel at CES and participating in a very very big and almost colourful way.
2. apple’s ad when they launched their intel-based machines. Have you seen it? They friends yet? or still “foes”?

This led to the burning Q: Apple and Intel together at last - whose more excited??
“We r equally excited..,” so says an intel exec.
“….and the Pee Arrr answer for that iiiiiissss apple and intel have the same product roadmap,” the pr mngr tries not to have a chiding tone.

Nearing the end of the lunch however, intel exec comments something along the lines,”with apple, more people will see more intel….”

Speculations run wild, rite????

N: they have to, they hv to maintain snobbish for mac fans. so long oredi mac say dun wan intel and suddenly now they have… hv to maintain face mar otherwise mac fans amok

N: pc users gain alot, intel also gain alot.. mac fans are hurt
cat: then when u think abt it, now intel so hip and happening hor… most prob apple told them to shape up before agree to join them..
N: ya, apple prob said…pls do smtg abt your image otherwise how to gel? too old-fashioned.
cat: ya lar so intel happier lar.. more than willing to follow apple…
N: apple market so niche and small, now wit intel the fans not happy, but PC users are happy. Now they can even port TigerOS to PCs already. dun need apple hardware already
cat: would they do that…? mac looks so good… pcs like shit
N: who knows…one day maybe there wont be anymore AppleOS…only hardware.
