….choosing DVDs.. sis has rather particular tastes… ie. a soft spot for old actors like Harrison Ford, Ed Harris, Sean Connery, Dennis Quaid and a penchant for romantic movies.
Had suggested “Keeping Mom” a comedy..she took one look and accuses me of always picking kinky movies. How absurd. Totally.

So, now stuck wit Firewall, a Harrison Ford thriller which is currently giving me the familiar vibrations that Red Eye and Hostage sent off to me. Wanna bet that it’ll eventually turn into an AIRFORCE ONE???
Good Grief.

To top it off, she and other housemate are camping in the office tonite.. leaving me all alone at home. PFFFFT.

Im hating the movie already.

… there were already a few from there who migrated over… but all scattered all over..
So what happens when a bunch of them show up at same time, at same place?

Ex-Editor visited today and wouldave silently floated off had i not gone down at opportune time to have dinner with some other colleagues.

Basically had some ideas about the yahoo! and google scenario….. but some things he said.. made me realise I had to re-work my whoooooole perception of the whole situation.
On the plus side, have requested for a beta account of the new Yahoo! Mail… waiting for it to be activated.

My opinions are very mixed at this stage. Short of conducting a nationwide survey…there are many many more elements that ive overlooked and nothing can be conclusive yet as of now.

Am home now…just glad Ive almost finished my tasks (just pending a few more from the other party…wotta slacker)…. and can contentedly sink my teeth into a few ideas ive been playing with lately.

Nite outs with da gals is wrought with adventure most times.
A happening last weekend reminded me of this more than ever.

Our fave local had three new faces - an unassuming looking bloke and his mates - one looked middle eastern, the other reminded us of the good doctor from gay serial “Queer as Folk”.
All three looked out of place - the doc was dressed in leather jacket (what in our weather??) and I dont know why I didnt think of it at that time, yes… but he could fit in very well in the scenes of war torn Iraq or something like that.

Maybe im just biased… the awesomely nicest of the lot, clued us in that they are with the english language version of a pretty controversial TV station.
But hey, what do i know about politics???

Come to think if it, he must have been pretty surprised that I blabbed on and on without querying more about the nature of his job. DUH.

After that he and friend left, only leather jacket was left behind - he somehow gave off the cold feeling of someone whose left behind to clean up the mess and leave no traces of evidence of whatever crimes that may have been committed.

Havent been on here since forever…. April is one busy, busy hectic month!

Id finished an item and was about the start on the next when suddenly I saw my desktop. I also realised that I only four of my Yahoo! Messenger contacts were online…. were they on MSN instead?

In other news, tomorrow is a holiday but foresee having to work. Hope to pinch another notebook besides the NEC which I got - the cursor keeps jumping around for no reason… and no its not cos of the over-sensitive touchpad.
