…gulped down brekkie and ran to the ballroom…… foyer was empty…. shit, i was late!
Ran past the event gals with a breathless, “Im late arent i?”
“Just a little…..”
Pushed open the doors and ballroom was…..EMPTY!
“What happened? Is it another venue? WHERE IS EVERYONE???”
She looked at me and with a teasing look asks, “You know France won last night, right?”
Argggh.
